Today I bought a book (Haruki Murakami, great writer!) and began thinking about bookstores. They fascinate me. In the US a bookstore is much like a library with people scattered all over the place reading. In China however they seem to take everything to the max. This bookstore was crowded with people reading and some even sleeping. Makes me wonder what a library looks like in China. Next month in Beijing I will be sure to pay a visit to the library.
