Terminal 3, first and second photo. Two years ago the lot in front of it was still quit empty. I was amazed at how it has changed so fast and still there’s a lot more construction going on.
Last photo: view on Makati. Imagine that to all four sides this city somewhat looks like this. An urban eclectic mix of buildings: high-rises, residential areas and squatter settlements (shanty towns). Metro Manila is a fusion of 7 or so cities. Like LA, there’s no real city centre. Since I’m staying longer this time I vagely begin to get a clue what this city is like. I’m really excited about the place although sometimes I don’t really know why. This city is so hard to move around in.
